Delete your account

You can delete your Pellmoor account at any time. Deleting your account is free, and you never have to call anyone or explain why.

In the app

Open the Pellmoor app, go to Account, and choose Delete my account. You will be asked for your password and a typed confirmation, because deleting an account cannot be undone. It takes effect immediately.

If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in

Email privacy@pellmoorhealth.com from any address and ask us to delete your account.

We will verify who you are before we act on the request. That step is not bureaucracy — without it, anyone who knew your email address could close your account or reach your health information. Expect us to complete a verified request within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

Every active session, on every device
Your recurring membership billing
Your ability to sign in to this account

What is kept, and why

Your account and your medical record are different things. We are not permitted to destroy your medical record on request — the state you were treated in requires us to keep it, and then we destroy it on schedule.

Get a copy first

Deleting your account removes your way of signing in, so download your record before you delete if you want your own copy. You can do that from My record in the app or the patient portal, free, in a standard electronic format. Afterwards you can still request a copy, or ask us to send it to another clinician at no charge, by writing to privacy@pellmoorhealth.com.

Cancelling your membership is not the same as deleting your account, and neither one ends your clinical relationship by itself — see our financial policy and terms. Questions about your record go to privacy@pellmoorhealth.com.
