How it works

Seven steps, and none of them are a surprise.

Most telehealth funnels are designed to get your card on file before you learn whether you qualify. Ours is designed the other way around.

  1. Free eligibility check

About five minutes. We screen for emergency symptoms first, then confirm which state you are physically in, then run the clinical criteria for the service you want. If we cannot safely or lawfully treat you, we tell you right there — before any payment method is requested.
  2. Review and sign your consents

You read and sign the specific consent documents for your treatment. They are written in plain language, and we store a cryptographic hash of the exact text you saw so there is never a dispute about what you agreed to.
  3. Get your Good Faith Estimate

Before you pay anything, you receive a written estimate of expected charges, as federal law requires for self-pay patients. It includes what we charge, what labs cost, and an honest statement that medication cost is separate and can be substantial.
  4. Baseline labs

We send an electronic order to a draw site near you. For weight management that means A1c, a metabolic panel, lipids, TSH, and a pregnancy test where applicable. For primary care it is whatever your conditions and your preventive schedule call for — nothing ordered reflexively.
  5. Your video visit

Thirty minutes with a clinician licensed in your state. They review your history, your labs, and your goals; discuss risks, benefits, and alternatives; and either start treatment or explain clearly why not. Follow-ups are 15 minutes, and you only book one if you want to talk — otherwise a written check-in covers it.
  6. Prescription, if appropriate

Sent electronically to the pharmacy you choose, over the national e-prescribing network — usually in under a minute. Before it goes, the software checks it against your allergies, your other medications, and your chart. We do not dispense medication and we have no financial relationship with any pharmacy.
  7. Ongoing care

Weekly portal check-ins at the start, clinician review at defined intervals, labs repeated on schedule, and unlimited secure messaging in between. Dose changes are made because of how you are doing, not on a fixed calendar.

If you report an emergency symptom, the intake stops

The very first screen asks about chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, uncontrolled bleeding, severe sudden abdominal pain, airway swelling, and thoughts of self-harm. Any of these ends the intake immediately and routes you to 911 or 988. We do not collect a payment method on that path.

We ask where you physically are — every visit

Not where you live. Where you are sitting. That determines which state's law governs and which of our clinicians may lawfully treat you, and our software will not let a visit be booked across that line.

You can stop at any point

Nothing is charged until you have read your Good Faith Estimate and affirmatively consented. If you abandon the intake, your partial answers are encrypted and deleted on request.
